Every weeknight, I’ve made a conscious effort to make {easy} dinners for the fam from scratch. {If you follow me on Instagram, you probably already know this and have seen lots of the yummy stuff I’ve been making!} It’s been SO nice to be able to get in the kitchen and cook for my boys. Butttt, come the weekend, Isaiah and I start talking about where we’re going to order out from the second we wake up. Totally normal, right?! #thoughtso

Below are our 8 favorite restaurants, in no particular order, that are currently offering local take-out and/or delivery! Note: they’re all very gluten-free friendly too, which I obviously appreciate!! {If you didn’t know, I have celiac and eat a gluten-free lifestyle!}

Mino’s Italian

OMG our newest obsession. Their pizza is top notch and their gluten-free pizza is my favorite in the world!!! Another positive: they are SUPER quick on their delivery speed!!

MY PICK: The Boscaiola ‘zaaa {pic above!} + I’m also obsessed with their calamari!

Ruby of Siam

In the mood for Thai?! Look no further. We love Ruby of Siam and are convinced it’s the best Thai on the North Shore! Sooo yummy. Plus, delivery is super fast!

MY PICK: Pad Thai with Tofu {above!} + a side of their sauce that goes with their spring rolls {I dip it into the pad thai and it’s beyond!! Trust me on that one!}

Greenwood

Love that they’re offering a Greatest Hits Menu!! Which is still pretty big!! And they are serving COCKTAILS!! Take-out only – but worth it.

Not super fancy but ohhh so good. If you like Greek, you will love this! They’re offering a family meal deal + their entire menu can be ordered! Mmmm

MY PICK: Homemade Gyros Plate. THE BEST!! Love their rice and potatoes it comes with. {PS my kids are big fans of their waffle fries!!}

Next Door Bistro

If I wasn’t making a home-cooked meal every week night, my husband would pick-up from here every week night. Portions are giant and it’s all just so so good.

Abigail’s

Delicious in the restaurant and delicious at home. Just call and order right at 3p when they open or you won’t eat until 9pm. {It’s THAT popular!!}

MY PICKS: Roasted beets {above!} which I have to get with regular goat cheese instead of the fritters to make it gluten-free. Also love their Shrimp Risotto, Miso-Caramel Glazed Salmon. And the impossible burger is good too!

La Casa De Isaac & Moishe

One of the best classic Mexican restaurants around. So happy they are still open during this quarantine!!

We love supporting local and also enjoy knowing that ordering out from these restaurants will help them financially survive this pandemic in one piece. And while every one of us is affected by our current economic state, it makes me feel good to know that on Saturday nights when we want to order out, we are able to! We sincerely appreciate these restaurants being open at this trying time and I want them to know that! With that being said, eating yummy food + supporting our favorite eateries is a complete win win in my book!
