Have you ever gotten one of those gotta-organize-everything NOW urges? Yeah, me too! Especially as a mom, keeping things tidy can feel like an impossible battle against the forces of clutter! When I get on these kicks, I’m usually tackling small projects and always feel SO great afterwards. But you guys, I’ve found a secret weapon in the battle against clutter and disarray!
The Kitchen Transformation Begins
Let me first take you back to the beginning of my desire to organize my kitchen where we transformed a neglected closet into a functional pantry. It was a total mess, if I do say so myself, stuffed with random odds and ends, and I had no idea where to start. Enter my husband’s brilliant idea and the catalyst for change.
We did a little construction remodeling that involved changing the doorway from one place to another in order to make the closet space work way better for us. The real challenge, however, was figuring out how to organize it effectively. And I didn’t want to just do this one closet, I wanted to organize my entire kitchen! Along with this newfound kitchen closet, I wanted to tackle the main pantry, every single cabinet, and all the drawers, too! The whole idea of doing this complete kitchen organization reno on my own felt overwhelming. That’s when I knew it was time to call in the pros. I’d worked with Lauren and her team from Neat Method North Shore before, and let me tell you, they are all literal miracle workers.

With the clutter gone, step three was a breeze: grouping like items together and deciding where they belonged.
And finally, step four brought the excitement of putting everything back in its place, beautifully organized and labeled for easy access. Mission kitchen organization complete!
